- This article talks about the intercession of Christ and considers what it means for the Christian. I’ve been reading Gentle and Lowly with a friend, and we recently read chapter 8 titled “To the Uttermost”, based on Hebrews 7:25, which talked of Christ’s heart as seen in his intercession for his people. I recognized a lack of depth of understanding on my part and have been encouraged in reading more on it (I would also recommend John Bunyan’s “Christ a Complete Savior”, mentioned in both the book and article). Although brief, I think this provides a good overview and prompts reflection of God’s goodness and grace to us found in Christ and his continual interceding on our behalf.
