Jonah – a summer to seæ

Jonah – a summer to seæfeatured

More than just Jonah and the whale.

For you, is this a common Sunday school story, or a story you have never heard? Some of us are unfamiliar, and that’s okay! Others of us, imagine cartoon images of Jonah in the belly of a fish from lessons taught to us at a younger age. Others feel even more familiar with Jonah’s blatant rebellion to God’s call. With whichever view we are coming to this study, God has invited us to see through Jonah. This summer you are invited to take a deeper look, into the book of Jonah to see our God’s sovereignty, boundless compassion, and desire to make His name known through the real life of Jonah. You are invited to see through reading, the real work of God. We will look together at the history, and with the Lord’s help, grow in what He desires us to see through His words.

Details.

This study of Jonah will be an at home study. Weekly posts will guide you through different study options available depending on the level of depth you are able to commit to. A weekly email will help you to stay on track. You will still benefit more from this study if you have others to meet with weekly and discuss. Consider asking other women in your Missional Community if they are interested in going through this together and recapping each week during meal time. Or maybe you have other friends or family you would like to meet with another time during the week. If you would like to be partnered with someone for this study, there will be an option on your registration.

This summer study will begin Monday, June 4th. Click here to register.
